T-Cell Therapy for Advanced Melanoma
Part of Cancer, Immune system & allergy clinical trials.
This trial tests a new T-cell therapy made from your own tumor (TILs), genetically edited to remove the PD1 checkpoint blocker. It may help your immune system fight melanoma that has not responded to standard treatments like anti-PD1 therapy.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You must have stage IIIc or IV melanoma that has worsened after standard treatment (like anti-PD1 or anti-CTLA4 therapy).
- You need to have at least one melanoma tumor that can be surgically removed (about the size of a pea or larger).
- Your overall health must be good enough for surgery and chemotherapy – you should be able to do light housework or office work (ECOG 0 or 1).
- Your heart and lung function must be strong – no recent heart attacks, bypass surgery, severe COPD, or uncontrolled asthma.
- You must have adequate blood counts and kidney/liver function (tests will be done to check this).
- If you are of childbearing age, you must use effective birth control during and for some time after treatment.

This trial tests a new treatment called tumor infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy for melanoma that hasn't responded to standard immunotherapy drugs. The therapy involves taking immune cells from your tumor, growing more of them in the lab, and putting them back into your body to fight the cancer.
This trial tests a new treatment called ADP-TILIL7 for people with advanced melanoma. It uses your own immune cells (T-cells) that are taken from a tumor, multiplied in a lab, and then given back to you to fight the cancer. The goal is to see if this treatment is safe and works better than standard options.
This trial tests a personalized cell therapy using your own immune cells (TILs) grown in a lab. It is for people with advanced melanoma that did not respond to or stopped responding to prior immunotherapy.
This trial tests a personalized cell therapy using your own immune cells (tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, or TILs) to fight advanced melanoma that has stopped responding to standard treatments like anti-PD-1 (immunotherapy). If you qualify, you'd receive your own TILs instead of chemotherapy.
This early-phase trial tests GC101 TIL, a treatment made from your own melanoma tumor cells, for advanced melanoma. It may help the immune system better fight the cancer after standard treatments have already stopped working or if none are available.
This trial tests a new cell therapy made from your own tumor-fighting cells (TILs) for advanced melanoma that hasn't responded to other treatments. It aims to shrink tumors by re-infusing these boosted cells back into your body.
