Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You had a new stroke (cerebral infarction) within the last 7 days, and your stroke caused trouble speaking (aphasia).
  • You are right-handed.
  • You do not have metal implants in your body (like a pacemaker or cochlear implant).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You are not taking any sedatives or large amounts of sleep aids.
