Who can take part

  • Your baby was born between 23 and 29 weeks of pregnancy.
  • Your baby weighed between 500 and 1500 grams at birth.
  • Your baby still needs a breathing tube at 36 weeks corrected age despite hormone therapy (DART).
  • Your baby has severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) and was given surfactant early on.
  • You agree to let your baby participate in this research study.
