Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 28 days and 18 years old.
  • Your child must have been diagnosed with bronchiolitis obliterans by a doctor.
  • Your child must have severe lung problems, such as very low lung function (FEV1 less than 55% of normal) or need constant oxygen or a breathing machine.
  • Your child must not have had any acute infections in the past month.
  • Your child must be able to safely undergo a bronchoscopy (a procedure where a thin tube is put into the lungs to deliver cells).
  • You and your child (if old enough) must agree to take part and follow all study visits and tests.
