Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You have advanced liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery and has not been treated before.
  • Your liver function must be good (Child-Pugh score A5 or A6), meaning your cirrhosis is mild.
  • You must be generally active and able to take care of yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • Your blood counts and kidney/liver lab results must be within certain safe ranges.
  • If you are sexually active, you must use effective birth control during the study.
