Who can take part

  • You must be 40 or older if you have COPD, or 18 or older if you have asthma or bronchiectasis.
  • You were hospitalized for a flare-up of COPD, uncontrolled asthma, or a worsening of bronchiectasis.
  • You are able to do a breathing test (spirometry) once your condition is stable.
  • Your doctor expects you to live more than one month.
  • You do not have cystic fibrosis or another serious lung condition like interstitial lung disease.
