  • You are at least 12 years old (if you have asthma) or at least 18 (if you have COPD) and under 80.
  • You have been diagnosed with asthma or COPD by a doctor.
  • You agree to join the study and sign a consent form.
  • You do not have other serious lung problems like lung cancer, infections, or collapsed lung.
  • You do not have severe heart, brain, liver, kidney, or blood diseases that might interfere.
  • You do not have dementia or serious mental illness that would affect your ability to participate.
