Who can take part

  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of Parkinson's disease
  • You experience freezing of gait at least once a day
  • You can walk 10 meters on your own (with or without a cane)
  • You are between 40 and 79 years old
  • You have not had more than 1 fall per day
  • You are not using a duodopa pump or apomorphine injections

Testing a drug to reduce freezing of gait in Parkinson's

This trial tests whether atomoxetine, a drug that boosts a brain chemical called noradrenaline, can help reduce freezing of gait—a feeling of your feet being stuck to the ground—in people with Parkinson's disease.
