- You are 18 years old or older
- You have extra fluid in your body (fluid overload of more than 5%)
- You are in the intensive care unit receiving a special type of dialysis called continuous veno-venous hemofiltration (CVVH)
- Your blood pressure has been stable for at least 4 hours with medication (norepinephrine)
- You do not have a pacemaker or other implanted electrical device
