Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 7 days old and under 18 years old and be in the hospital.
  • Your child must have a confirmed or suspected ABC infection that needs IV antibiotics.
  • Your child should not have a history of serious allergic reaction to penicillin-like antibiotics.
  • Your child should not be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy (if applicable).
  • Your child must have blood tests showing their liver and kidneys are working well enough.
