Can anti-rejection drugs prevent sensitization after a failed kidney transplant?

Who can take part

  • You are 19 years or older and your first kidney transplant has failed.
  • You are about to start dialysis as a result.
  • You were taking either tacrolimus or cyclosporine to prevent rejection after your transplant.
  • You have not had any other organ transplant or more than one kidney transplant.
  • You do not have an active infection or cancer that would prevent you from staying on anti-rejection drugs.
