Who can take part

  • You must be at least 3 years old.
  • You must have a slow-flow vascular malformation (like a lymphatic or venous malformation) confirmed by imaging (ultrasound or MRI).
  • You must have symptoms such as pain, swelling, limited function, or cosmetic concerns, and want treatment.
  • The malformation must be at least 3 mm below the skin and at least 3 mm away from important nerves or blood vessels.
  • You must be able to have general anesthesia (being fully asleep during the procedure).
  • You must agree to have radiofrequency ablation instead of sclerotherapy.
