Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have a venous leg ulcer (between your ankle and knee) that is at least the size of a US quarter (2 cm²) and no bigger than a credit card (20 cm²).
  • The ulcer has been present for at least 4 weeks but no longer than 12 months.
  • You have confirmed poor vein function in your leg (tested with a doppler ultrasound).
  • You have enough blood flow to your foot (confirmed by a toe pressure, ankle-brachial index, or other test).
  • You are willing to use compression therapy and attend all study visits.
