Immunotherapy before and after surgery for advanced head and neck cancer
Treatments studied
Part of Cancer clinical trials.
This trial compares two immunotherapy drugs (ivonescimab vs. pembrolizumab) given before and after surgery for head and neck cancer that can be surgically removed. The goal is to see which drug works better to shrink the tumor and prevent the cancer from coming back.

This trial tests whether giving immunotherapy along with chemotherapy before surgery can help treat locally advanced head and neck cancer that can be removed. The goal is to see if this combination shrinks tumors and improves outcomes.
This trial tests a combination of two drugs—an immunotherapy (PD-1 inhibitor) and a targeted therapy (cetuximab)—given before surgery to shrink advanced head and neck cancers. The goal is to see if this approach can lower the risk of the cancer coming back.
This Phase 2 trial tests pembrolizumab and an investigational drug (IO102-103) given before surgery for certain non-bulky head and neck squamous cell cancers. The goal is to shrink the cancer and improve chances of cure by treating it before the operation.
This trial tests a new combination of an immunotherapy drug (adelbelimab) plus chemotherapy given before surgery for head and neck cancer. The goal is to see if this treatment can shrink tumors and improve outcomes for people with advanced but removable head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
This trial tests whether combining an immunotherapy drug (camrelizumab) with another targeted therapy or chemotherapy given before and after surgery can improve outcomes for people with locally advanced head and neck cancer. It aims to see if this approach is more effective than standard treatments.
This trial tests whether giving tislelizumab (an immunotherapy) with chemotherapy before surgery works better than surgery alone for people with head and neck cancer that has not spread to lymph nodes. It's for cancers that can be removed with surgery, and the goal is to see if the pre-surgery treatment improves outcomes.
