Who can take part
- You are 50 years old or older.
- You have been diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer and are scheduled for open surgery.
- You have a medical history that gives you a Charlson Comorbidity Index score of 3 or higher (this means you have multiple health conditions).
- You have had a contrast-enhanced CT scan of your abdomen and pelvis.
- You do not have any neuromuscular disorders (like muscular dystrophy).
- You have not had major surgery on your legs (such as amputation or hip replacement).
