Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 18 and 50 years old
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18.5 and 24.9
  • You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant
  • You have not gone through menopause
  • You do not have heart disease, diabetes, or a chronic inflammatory condition
  • You do not take anti-inflammatory drugs more than twice a week
  • You do not use cholesterol-lowering medications, diabetes medications, tobacco, or illegal drugs
  • You don't have a pacemaker
  • You can eat a regular meal without dietary restrictions (no vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or food allergies that would prevent it)
  • You can lie flat on your back in a dark room for at least 10 minutes
