Who can take part

  • Your baby is between 2 and 18 months old.
  • Your baby has been diagnosed with infantile spasms and treatment (like prednisolone, ACTH, or vigabatrin) stopped their spasms, confirmed by an EEG.
  • Your baby does not have serious high blood pressure, an active infection, or other conditions that would make extended steroid use risky.
  • Your baby has not used any artisanal cannabis product in the last 14 days.
  • Your baby is not currently on the ketogenic diet.
  • Your baby does not have a vagal nerve stimulator that was implanted or adjusted recently, and has not had epilepsy surgery.
