Who can take part

  • You are between 65 and 90 years old.
  • You feel your memory is worse than most, or your mind is not as clear as it used to be.
  • You walk a bit slower than others your age and sex.
  • You can walk without help for at least 2 minutes at a time.
  • You have a family member or friend who can help you use the brain-stimulation device at home.
  • You have reliable internet (WiFi) at home.

Brain Stimulation to Improve Memory in Older Adults

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique (tDCS) can help improve memory and thinking skills in people aged 60–75 who have noticed mild memory problems. You'll receive either real or sham (placebo) stimulation and undergo cognitive training over several weeks.
