Who can take part

  • You are age 65 or older
  • Your thinking tests suggest objective decline (based on standardized cognitive assessments)
  • You have noticed memory loss or confusion getting worse over the past 12 months
  • You can walk independently for 6 minutes (a cane is allowed)
  • Your cognitive test results are not in the lowest 10% range (you must score at least the 10th percentile)
  • You can safely have tDCS (a weak scalp electrical stimulation) and MRI brain scans
