Who can take part

  • You had your first-ever ischemic stroke 15 to 30 days ago.
  • You are right-handed.
  • You are able to take part in standard rehabilitation therapy.
  • You cannot have certain other medical conditions like severe aphasia, dementia before the stroke, or diabetes.
  • You cannot have a pacemaker, deep brain stimulator, or other electronic implant.
  • You do not have a history of severe mental health conditions like schizophrenia or uncontrolled depression before the stroke.
