Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with major depression (clinical depression) that is currently moderate to severe.
  • You have tried at least one antidepressant medication that didn't fully help.
  • You have been on a stable dose of your current antidepressant for at least 6 weeks.
  • You do not have any metal implants, pacemaker, or other reasons that make MRI or TMS unsafe for you.
  • You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant, and do not have active thoughts of suicide or substance use problems.
