- You have or may have large vessel vasculitis (LVV), a condition that causes swelling in your large arteries.
- You are willing to get a PET and MRA scan (special imaging tests).
- You are able to return for regular follow-up visits over a long period.
- You do not have other serious heart or blood vessel diseases, cancer, active infections, or severe kidney problems.
- You are not pregnant, nursing, or allergic to the contrast dye used in the scans.
