New PET/CT Imaging Study for Large Vessel Vasculitis

Who can take part

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have been recently diagnosed with large vessel vasculitis (LVV) based on specific diagnostic criteria
  • Be in generally good health (able to walk around and do light activities, though you may need help with some tasks)
  • Have kidney function test results showing eGFR of at least 30 (especially important if you have kidney disease or diabetes)
  • Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Be able to lie still inside a scanner without feeling claustrophobic
