Who can take part

  • Your child must have recently lost a lower baby molar (within the last 3 months).
  • The permanent tooth underneath should not be ready to come in for at least 6 more months.
  • Your child needs to have normal bite and jaw alignment, with no crossbite, open bite, or deep bite.
  • There should be teeth on both sides of the gap where the baby tooth was lost.
  • Your child should be cooperative and able to tolerate dental procedures.
  • Your child must not have habits like thumb sucking, teeth grinding, or severe crowding.
