Hyperbaric oxygen before surgery for breast cancer

Breast Cancers

Part of Cancer, Skin clinical trials.

This trial tests if adding hyperbaric oxygen (breathing pure oxygen in a high-pressure chamber) to standard pre-surgery treatment can help women with triple-negative or HER2-positive breast cancer. The goal is to see if it makes treatment work better and is safe.

Oral chemo and targeted therapy before breast cancer surgery

This trial tests a combination of an oral chemotherapy pill (paclitaxel) with two targeted antibodies (pertuzumab and trastuzumab) given before surgery for HER2-positive breast cancer. The goal is to shrink the tumor and make surgery more effective.

Hyperbaric oxygen to help prevent radiation-related lung injury

This trial tests whether breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber (hyperbaric oxygen) can prevent lung inflammation caused by breast cancer radiation. It may help reduce the risk of radiation pneumonitis in certain breast cancer survivors.

Hyperbaric oxygen for skin healing after breast cancer surgery

This trial tests whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy (breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber) can help heal skin flaps that are not getting enough blood after breast cancer surgery. It may prevent tissue death and improve recovery.

Hyperbaric oxygen to slow breast cancer spread to lungs

This trial tests whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy (breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber) can slow the growth of breast cancer that has spread to the lungs. You would receive this treatment alongside standard care if your cancer has grown despite prior chemotherapy.
