  • You are within 6 weeks of giving birth
  • You have a high risk of blood clots (high body mass index or personal clot history)
  • You are not breastfeeding, or you are breastfeeding a full-term healthy baby
  • You are 18 or older and speak English
  • You do not have active bleeding or kidney or liver problems
