Who can take part

  • You have had a large bulge (aneurysm) in at least one heart artery after Kawasaki disease.
  • The bulge is very large, with a Z-score of 10 or more, or at least 8mm wide.
  • You are between 2 and 17 years old.
  • You are recommended to take blood-thinning medicine for the next 6 months.
  • You are not currently bleeding or at high risk of bleeding.
  • You are not allergic to rivaroxaban or similar drugs.
