  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You have a BMI between 18 and 30
  • You are having planned surgery with general anesthesia and a breathing tube
  • You either take a statin for at least 3 months or have never taken one
  • You do not have serious liver or kidney problems, neuromuscular disorders, or sleep apnea
