Who can take part

  • You must be having surgery with general anesthesia that requires a muscle relaxant called rocuronium.
  • You should not have a nerve or muscle disease that is getting worse over time.
  • You cannot have severe swelling (edema) in your body.
  • You must be in good enough health for surgery (classified as ASA 1 to 4).
