Who can take part

  • You have had a moderate or severe traumatic brain injury, with a GCS score of 13 or lower on admission.
  • Your brain injury was confirmed by a CT scan.
  • You do not have any other major injuries, only minor ones (like a simple limb fracture or a mild lung bruise).
  • You were not taking beta blocker medicine before your injury.
  • You do not have asthma or other conditions that cause wheezing.
