Who can take part

  • You live in British Columbia, Canada with active medical coverage
  • You are between 19 and 70 years old
  • You have a spinal cord injury above T6 with complete paralysis, or multiple system atrophy (parkinsonian type)
  • Your injury or diagnosis was more than 1 year ago, and at least 6 months since any spinal surgery
  • You are willing to attend clinic visits and follow study procedures
  • Not using certain medical devices like a baclofen pump or implanted metal in your head or trunk
  • Not currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy during the study
