Who can take part
- You are between 19 and 69 years old
- You had surgery to remove all or part of your thyroid gland (because of a tumor) using a breathing tube
- You were generally healthy before surgery (rated as ASA I or II)
- You are having upper respiratory symptoms (like hoarseness, cough, or throat discomfort) after surgery
- You have not had chronic cough for more than 3 months before surgery, and do not have asthma or COPD
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy during the study
