Who can take part

  • Your child is diagnosed with asthma according to the latest guidelines.
  • Your child has not had antibiotics or steroid pills in the 2 weeks before the study.
  • Your child does not have other lung or airway problems, like a birth defect or foreign object stuck in the windpipe.
  • Your child does not have other major health conditions like a heart defect, pneumonia, or severe reflux.
  • Your child has not been on long-term antibiotics or immune-suppressing medicine before the study.
