Who can take part
- Your spinal cord injury must be complete (no feeling or movement below the injury) or sensory incomplete (some feeling but no movement).
- The injury must be between the 4th neck bone and the 10th chest bone.
- You must have at least one arm or hand muscle with a little bit of strength (grade 1 out of 5).
- You must be between 18 and 65 years old.
- You must be able to have surgery to inject the cells, and agree to use birth control for one year.
- You cannot have other major injuries, infections, or health issues that make surgery risky.
