Who can take part

  • You had a stroke (from a clot or bleeding) within the last 6 months.
  • You have some balance problems but can still walk and stand on your own.
  • You have good thinking and memory skills (no major dementia or confusion).
  • You do not have severe vision or hearing problems, or other conditions like Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, epilepsy, or serious heart issues.
  • You have not had a recent leg injury or surgery, and you are not taking medicines that affect your balance.
