Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have type 2 diabetes
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 35 (a measure of weight relative to height)
- Your A1C (average blood sugar over 3 months) is between 7.5% and 9.0%
- You have been taking the same diabetes medications (pills, insulin, or GLP-1 shots) for at least 3 months
- You are not pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding
