Who can take part
- You are 40 years or older.
- You have at least 2 of these risk factors: heart disease, diabetes, a type of irregular heartbeat called atrial fibrillation (permanent or always present, not coming and going), past stroke, blocked leg arteries, kidney disease, long-term use of water pills, or lung disease called COPD.
- You have mild to moderate shortness of breath or fatigue (based on a simple activity scale).
- You haven't been diagnosed with heart failure before.
- You are willing to come to the Cleveland Clinic for study visits.
