This study tests whether a computer program called Kinovea can accurately measure how your knee moves while walking. If you have a below-knee amputation, use a prosthetic, and meet a few health criteria, you may be able to help improve how amputees are fitted and trained.

Who can take part

  • You have lost one leg below the knee (transtibial amputation).
  • You use a prosthetic leg and can walk with it.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is less than 30.
  • Both knees can bend and straighten fully without stiffness.
  • You have not had any surgery on either knee.
