Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have an amputation above the knee (transfemoral or knee disarticulation) on one side only
  • You use your prosthetic leg at least 3 hours each day
  • You have been using your prosthetic leg for more than 6 months
  • Your doctor has rated your walking ability as K-level 2 or higher (you can walk in the community with some limitations)
  • You can walk 5 meters (about 16 feet) without a cane or walker
