Studying how pregnancy inflammation affects baby brain development

Who can take part

  • Be between 18 and 40 years old.
  • Have a body mass index (BMI) between 18 and 25.
  • Have no history of chronic conditions like rheumatic, immune, or hormone disorders.
  • Have no past pregnancy complications (like pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, or preterm birth).
  • Have normal results from your combined screening test in the current pregnancy.
  • Not have pre-gestational diabetes, be pregnant with more than one baby, or have certain pregnancy complications (like preterm labor, pre-eclampsia, or fetal growth problems).
