  • You are between 18 and 55 years old
  • You are either generally healthy with no major psychiatric conditions or have current major depressive disorder
  • You do not have any serious or unstable medical conditions like heart disease, diabetes, or kidney disease
  • You are not taking medications that affect heart function or mental health, including antidepressants or stimulants
  • You do not use tobacco products, including e-cigarettes
  • If female, you are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant
