Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are scheduled for a minimally invasive lung surgery (VATS or RATS) to remove part or all of a lung.
- You understand what joining the trial means and agree to sign a consent form.
- You are not allergic to the numbing medicine used in the nerve block.
- You have not used strong painkillers (opioids) for a non-surgery reason for more than 3 months.
- You do not have liver failure, connective tissue disease, or other conditions that would make this procedure unsafe.
