Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
- You must be scheduled for a uniportal VATS (a type of keyhole lung surgery).
- You cannot have an active chest wall infection or have had a lung decortication.
- You cannot have ongoing chest pain, severe kidney or liver disease, or a history of psychiatric illness.
- You cannot be allergic to the drugs used, be on blood thinners, have a BMI over 35, or have a spinal deformity.
