  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 28 or higher.
  • Your heart failure symptoms are moderate (NYHA class II or III).
  • You have not been hospitalized for heart failure in the past month.
  • Your Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire (KCCQ) overall score is below 80 (meaning your heart failure affects your daily life).
  • You are willing to use effective birth control (if you could become pregnant) and not breastfeed during the study.
