This study tests an investigational medication (IBI362) to see if it can improve sleep apnea in people with obesity. You might qualify if you have moderate to severe sleep apnea and a BMI of 28 or higher, whether or not you currently use a CPAP machine.

Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have a sleep study (polysomnography) showing at least 15 breathing pauses per hour (AHI ≥15).
  • Your body mass index (BMI) must be 28 or higher.
  • If you use a PAP machine, you must have used it consistently for at least 3 months and agree to continue, but stop it for up to 7 days before certain tests.
  • If you don't use a PAP machine, you cannot have used one for at least 4 weeks before the study.
  • You cannot have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, or have had recent weight loss surgery or certain other treatments for sleep apnea.
