Who can take part

  • You have kidney stones in both kidneys, or you have passed more than one kidney stone in the last 5 years.
  • Your blood calcium level (corrected for albumin) is not above 11.0 mg/dL.
  • Your kidney function (GFR) is 60 mL/min/1.73 m2 or higher.
  • You do not have a history of chronic granulomatous disease (such as tuberculosis or sarcoidosis).
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You have no abnormalities in your urinary tract shape that could affect stone formation.
