Arm and leg cycling to speed up spinal cord injury recovery

Who can take part

  • You have a spinal cord injury at T11 or above (upper back or neck area) that is incomplete (some movement or feeling below the injury)
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • Your injury happened at least one year ago
  • You can walk at least 30 feet with a cane, walker, or braces, but your walking speed is slower than normal
  • You have enough arm strength to pedal an arm cycle for 15 minutes without help
  • You have no major medical issues or planned surgeries that would stop you from participating
