Who can take part

  • You had a sudden, traumatic spinal cord injury between your neck (C5) and upper back (T12).
  • Your injury is classified as AIS B, C, or D, meaning you still have some movement or feeling below the injury.
  • You are between 16 and 74 years old.
  • You can put some weight on both legs and safely wear a harness.
  • You can start the study within 60 days of your injury and agree to be followed for one year.
  • You do not have other injuries or conditions (like severe brain injury, heart failure, or pregnancy) that would make the therapy unsafe.
