Who can take part

  • You can still get up and do most of your daily activities (performance status 0 or 1).
  • You have a diagnosis of prostate cancer, not a mostly different type like neuroendocrine cancer.
  • You have had surgery to remove the testicles or are on hormone therapy, and your testosterone is very low.
  • You have at least one tumor that has spread to other parts of the body, seen on a scan.
  • You must have adequate liver, kidney, and bone marrow function (checked by blood tests).
  • Your cancer is getting worse despite at least one or two prior treatments, depending on the part of the study.
