Study of AZD6621 for men with advanced prostate cancer

Who can take part

  • You must have metastatic prostate cancer that keeps growing despite hormone therapy (castration-resistant).
  • Your testosterone must be at castrate levels (very low), either from surgery or ongoing hormone shots.
  • You need to provide a fresh or stored tumor sample (biopsy) before starting.
  • Your PSA must be at least 1 ng/mL, and you must show recent disease progression (rising PSA or new scans).
  • You should be in good enough health to do daily activities (ECOG 0-1) and have adequate organ function.
  • You cannot have major heart problems, active infections, or other serious illnesses that would make the study unsafe.
